Last Hours to Bid on Gris Grimly for WM3 Defense!

Hurry, WM3 Supporters-- these are the final hours to bid on Gris Grimly originals to benefit the Damien Echols' Defense Fund. DNA needs to be tested and WE need to pay for it! The Mad Creator, Gris Grimly, donated two of his illustrations to Skeleton Key Auctions to raise larger sums for the defense fund. Grimly's black and white, pen on drawing paper illustrations are two of the originals for the Released Butterfly tshirt that he's been selling to benefit the defense fund for years now. One illustration is called "Broken Justice," depicting the decaying symbol of the American justice system. It is 9" X 12" and its minimum bid is an incredibly reasonable $300.

The other illustration is the aforementioned "Released Butterfly" and depicts a skeleton with butterfly wings, symbolizing the majestic freedom from death's grasp. “Released Butterfly", also 9" X 12", has a minimum bid of $300. The winning bids for these original illustrations are tax deductible as the defense fund is a 501(3)(c) corporation.

State's Response to More DNA Testing: No Objections

From Damien Echols' team: "We are very pleased that  the Attorney General's office has decided to move ahead quickly with DNA and forensic testing of materials  that we requested from the crime scene and other sources. We are confident that further scientific testing will contribute to the body of evidence of the innocence of Damien, Jason and Jessie."

The lawyers' motion to complete DNA and other forensic testing will move forward without objection from the State because the State bears no responsibility for the cost. WM3 supporters everywhere must now do our utmost to raise funds now because the price tag will easily be in the six figures. (And this is without legal fees or forensic expert testimony for the evidentiary hearing!) Please add your picture to the WM3 photo wall, contribute directly to the Defense Fund (a 501(3)(c) LLC), or host a defense fund benefit event in your town. We can be proud of how far this case has progressed in nearly 18 years but it's still an expensive, uphill road ahead for Damien, Jason and Jessie until they are freed.

Jason Baldwin Turns 34 in Tucker Max on April 11, 2011

Jason Baldwin was just 16 years old when he was arrested on June 3, 1993 and unjustly convicted of a triple homicide in March 1994. Please let Jason know that you're thinking about his well being, his patience and his courage with a letter or a card for his birthday. He won't mind one bit if you get him a book on amazon (or any reputable book vendor) or top up his commissary account too! SKA Auctions Gris Grimly Art for the WM3 Defense Fund

The Mad Creator, Gris Grimly, has donated two of his original illustrations to Skeleton Key Auctions to raise money for the defense fund for Damien Echols (who is on death row), Jason Baldwin, and Jessie Misskelley, Jr. Judge David Laser will be holding an evidentiary hearing for the three men from December 5th through December 21st and supporters will need to raise a small fortune to help with everything from legal fees to further DNA testing.

Grimly's black and white, pen on drawing paper illustrations are the original art from the Released Butterfly tshirt he sells on his Mad Creator website to spread awareness and financial assistance to the West Memphis Three defense.
